Evolution towards full autonomous networks and measuring benefits
Project companies
Our Catalyst project pushes the boundaries of digital operations by showcasing capabilities aligned with a fully autonomous network, as defined by TM Forum’s Autonomous Network Levels (ANL).
Key Features and Approach
We demonstrate autonomous networks through intelligent operations by integrating AIOps, digital twins, and Generative AI (GenAI). AI and GenAI are applied across various dimensions—from intent definition and issue identification to troubleshooting, closed-loop automation, and autonomous problem resolution. The primary focus is to enable the transition from human-led to system-led operations, with human oversight.
Digital twins are leveraged alongside intent probing to enhance service qualification and configuration processes. This approach increases success rates by simulating potential changes within a digital twin environment before they are applied to the live network.
Our solution operates at the service layer and spans multi-domain networks across the full service lifecycle.
Core Benefits for CSPs
* Business Expansion: Unlock new monetization opportunities by opening networks to innovative services.
* Superior Customer Experience: Deliver agile, consistent, and high-quality services with minimal failures.
* Operational Efficiency: Reduce complexity and streamline operations for greater efficiency.
By focusing on Intent, Awareness, Analysis, Decision, and Execution, our solution establishes a transformative framework for autonomous operations. Enhanced observability, knowledge graphs, and AIOps-powered closed loops empower the network to detect, diagnose, and resolve issues autonomously—driving new levels of reliability and efficiency.
Through pioneering the use of AI, GenAI, and digital twin technologies, our project enhances service quality, responsiveness, and scalability—setting a new industry benchmark for intent-driven networks that continuously adapt to evolving demands.
