As the world of 5G is just around the corner, it is imperative that mobile operators know how to successfully manage services across their newly invested 5G networks in such a way that they are able to ensure the customer is provided with the innovative 5G services that they are asking for. The goal of this Catalyst is to demonstrate that network slices can be dynamically created as well as managed through the lifecycle with minimal human intervention and time-to-market. At the same time, these slices must also be managed effectively, and customers billed accordingly for the resources consumed.
- The project will demonstrate network slice lifecycle management across the following 3 use cases:
- Robotic Arm Control (uRLLC)
- Corporate Internet (eMBB)
- IoT Device Management (mMTC)
