Scott Griffith

Scott Griffith is a principal enterprise architect with over 23 years of experience in delivering telecommunication services for GCI in his hometown of Anchorage, Alaska. He specializes in visual communication and architecture models that define and deliver recommendations on architecture solutions for the company. Scott has worked at GCI as a system engineer, product manager, and ultimately in his current role as an enterprise architect. His wide experience from product definition to service delivery provides him with a deep understanding of the business which helps him break down problems and simplify complex processes into consumable and highly reusable parts. He’s currently focused on leading his team's architectural thinking, as well as mentoring in the practical application of enterprise architecture principles and techniques throughout the organization. Scott has also played a key role in a recent business transformation involving consolidation of multiple billing systems and automation of service provisioning of quad-play consumer services. He is a strong advocate for the adoption of Open Digital Architecture to establish a forward-looking, flexible architecture that enables new opportunities for growth and improved customer experience.

Prior to GCI, Scott excelled in his previous roles as cartographer and GIS analyst for the Washington Department of Natural Resources and King County Metro. Scott has a Bachelor of Science degree in cartography from the University of Idaho.

Scott has been a Converged Access Catalyst team contributor for the past three years.
