Discover Open Digital Architecture (ODA)

Open Digital Architecture (ODA) defines an industry-agreed set of reusable software building blocks for creating, managing, and securing any digital service. ODA transforms business agility, customer experience, and operational efficiency at scale and enables new partnerships.  

• ODA was co-created by 1,750 professionals from more than 350 TM Forum member companies, 
• TM Forum’s ODA Manifesto has now been signed by 118 leading communications service providers worldwide. 
• 48 software vendors have mapped their components to the ODA Component inventory. The ODA Component Directory aims to simplify the procurement of software complying with ODA standards by providing tools to help buyers find software providers of ODA Components.     
• Members that have evolved their organizations to implement ODA and have signed the Open Digital Architecture Manifesto can apply for a Running on ODA assessment.   
• The first three service providers in the world to achieve ‘Running on ODA’ Status are Axiata, Jio and Vodafone, with more announcements imminent.
• The vendor equivalent of ‘Running on ODA’ is called Ready for ODA and is in pilot trials with six companies. A further nine members have met the eligibility criteria for assessment. 

Microsoft is the latest company to sign the ODA Manifesto at MWC 2023 and has been a longstanding contributor to TM Forum’s work.
