Choose the right assessment for your organization
TM Forum maturity assessments currently come in two different flavors:
Digital Maturity Assessment: An organization-wide review of digital maturity that helps identify, prioritize and manage the next steps on your digital transformation journey.
Revenue Assurance Maturity Assessment: A thorough assessment of your Revenue Assurance functions and operations to help maximize effectiveness and inform short-, medium- and long-term planning.
How a TM Forum assessment helped TELUS implement an Open API program
TELUS was looking to ensure its Open API program was fully aligned to TM Forum’s Open APIs model contained within the ODA framework. It needed to follow the right principles and best practices for long-term success.
The team commissioned a TM Forum Digital Maturity Assessment, providing a comprehensive overview of IT maturity based on the ODA framework. Within this were specific assessment models covering enterprise architecture and API architecture.
As part of the assessment, we analyzed the current TELUS ecosystem and conducted a gap analysis based on TM Forum’s Open APIs model as a target state. This helped to identify key challenges and what was required to overcome them.
The results of the assessment have helped TELUS to successfully evolve their Open API program. This included an API gateway modernization project that aims to improve the operator’s in-house API gateway solution.
