Globalstar has selected CSG International as the revenue and customer management solution provider for its second-generation service launch in the first half of 2016.
Globalstar’s second-generation satellite constellation and next-generation ground network will offer enhanced services such as increased data speeds, adding to its existing advanced messaging, geo-location, GPS, and wireless connectivity services.
CSG’s solutions, including CSG Singleview Convergent Rating & Billing, Singleview Customer Management, CSG Intermediate and CSG Interactivate, will power a purpose-built revenue and customer management platform for the new generation of Globalstar services.
The combined solutions offer an integrated platform with the flexibility to easily evolve with Globalstar services as needed. In addition, the CSG solutions will provide the target architecture for all of Globalstar’s existing services and subscribers.
“With CSG, we will have the ability to offer a new generation of innovative services supported by revenue and customer management solutions that will enable us to fully differentiate and maximize our second-generation constellation and terrestrial network combination,” said Steve Pearl, VP for software and applications development at Globalstar.
From capturing and accounting for network events to billing and customer care, Globalstar will benefit from the efficiencies of end-to-end revenue management and the rapid deployment afforded by Singleview, a TM Forum Frameworx-certified solution built upon the TM Forum’s suite of best practices and standards.
