In the trend of ICT integration and digital transformation, China Unicom is working with different vendors including Huawei, WhaleCloud, Inspur and BOCO guiding the concept of decoupling business scenarios from network capabilities on the platform. With the objective of rapidly building a multi-vendor industrial ecosystem, it will make individualization, differentiation, and diversity possible through the use of network capability APIs.

Agile business innovation, reducing time to market and continuously improving the value of the network are vital to success. This will be made possible with the help of APIs enabling the development of agile and rich scenarios. Through these, operators’ network infrastructure can be optimized quickly, providing a guarantee for the subsequent business cooperation model innovation with API granularity, which also provides a reference for operators’ digital transformation.
