Twin for ODA (automate ODA adoption using EA tools)

Enterprise Digital Twin for ODA - Phase II advances the industry’s journey toward standards-aligned, AI-assisted and continuously governed telecom transformation by turning TM Forum assets into an active enterprise architecture intelligence capability. Building on the previous phase, the Catalyst demonstrates how operators can use a digital twin of their enterprise landscape to model current architecture, map it to ODA, identify gaps, generate target-state options, and orchestrate the capabilities, teams and dependencies needed to execute change. Many service providers recognize the value of ODA but struggle to translate standards into practical, scalable implementation. Architecture knowledge is often fragmented across tools, diagrams, repositories and expert teams. Mapping systems, processes, APIs and capabilities to ODA can be manual, inconsistent and difficult to keep up to date as the enterprise evolves. Enterprise Digital Twin for ODA - Phase II addresses this challenge by combining organization-specific architecture models with TM Forum reference assets, including ODA, ODA Components, Open APIs, eTOM, SID, the Business Capability Framework and the Value Stream Framework. The Catalyst is intentionally not an “AI does architecture for me” approach. It is GenAI-powered but grounded in instantiated enterprise models and traceable TM Forum reference frameworks. This allows AI and agentic workflows to support architecture co-creation, ODA mapping, capability analysis, value-stream reasoning, target architecture design and transformation planning while preserving precision, traceability and relevance to the operator’s actual environment. The solution is demonstrated through three connected streams. First, it maps a CSP application and architecture catalog to ODA, including ODA Components, eTOM, SID, Functional Framework elements and Open APIs, while accelerating enterprise architecture artifact creation. Second, it generates and assesses value streams grounded in TM Forum’s Value Stream Framework, assigns relevant business capabilities, identifies gaps and inconsistencies, and produces structured documentation. Third, it supports business scenario generation and updates, helping users compare transformation options, assess improvement opportunities against ODA standards, and understand which technical gaps, teams, capabilities and dependencies must be orchestrated. By embedding automation, analytics, GenAI and agentic workflows into the twin, the Catalyst moves ODA adoption beyond static documentation and one-time conformance checks. The twin becomes a living decision-support capability that continuously assesses alignment, detects architectural drift, recommends remediation, supports scenario simulation and connects transformation decisions to business outcomes. The industry value is a repeatable and scalable framework for accelerating ODA adoption across operators, operating companies and domains. It reduces manual architecture effort, improves consistency and interoperability, lowers dependency on scarce ODA expertise, and creates a practical bridge between TM Forum standards and real-world transformation execution. Ultimately, Enterprise Digital Twin for ODA - Phase II shows how TM Forum assets can be operationalized through AI and digital twin technology to enable continuous architecture intelligence, stronger transformation governance and more future-ready telecom operations.
