5G Value Plus Lifestyle
To avoid becoming a data pipe with the advent of 5G, communications service providers (CSPs) need to innovate out of their existing business model to tap into the value networks of the digital economy that 5G will enable. 5G will bring one-dimensional products to offer to a multi-dimensional customer value creation system, and will go from a single communication product management to lifestyle enablement, creating a new era of “value plus”.
CSPs need to evolve to slice operation. To cope with the market location and layout of the Internet of things, the digital transformation of “”slice +”” of operators has entered a critical period.
This Catalyst project will demonstrate a football game use case. The CSP will provide on-demand slicing services and loyalty program value plus services, to provide an ecosystem marketplace for various industry verticals. In this marketplace, business customers will be able to acquire network slices and create value-added services, the CSP will leverage their customer relationships and manage partner offers for cross-selling and up-selling and to provide better value and experiences to their customers and promote innovative services (e.g. VR 360 live match). At the same time, a coupon of the business customers’ commodity or partner offer will be pushed to consumers through the platform for offline online offers. The construction of a 5G Ecosystem market place links all sectors of the industry and makes channels more flexible, makes commodity value more diversified, makes customer growth more attractive and makes in time enriching the whole ecosystem.
