DAPP-based Capability Exposure and Marketplace
So far, blockchain use cases have been explored by communications service provider (CSPs) such as international roaming settlement and SLA monitoring. This Catalyst project explores a new innovative area, the capability exposure for decentralized application (DApp) using blockchain technology. To do so, China Mobile, HPE, AsiaInfo and Newland aims to develop a reference implementation of a DApp-based capability exposure platform and marketplace to illustrate the technology, business process and the impact on different stakeholders including the CSP, partner and end-user.
The project will demonstrate:
- How CSPs expose capabilities APIs as digital assets in blockchain and onboard them in the marketplace.
- How partners find the necessary APIs, build DApps easily and onboard the DApps in the marketplace too.
- How end-users can find the interesting DApps easily from the marketplace.
- How the settlement or value exchange is completed among CSPs, partners and based on smart contract with a token.
