Using AI to “intelligentize” 5G network & operations management
The objective of this Catalyst is to take the advantage of big data and AI to explore the integrated intelligent operation system and to demonstrate an end to end network optimization and operation scheme which can be generalized in the telecommunication industry.
- To do this, the project analyzes the challenge brought by characteristics of 5G network, such as SDN, NFV, open slicing ability, Massive MIMO, and introduces a scheme to reconstruct the traditional Operation Support System (OSS). Meanwhile, this Catalyst follows the development of the strategy transformation for China Telecom which focuses on Intelligent Network and Smart Operation.
