Lim Yu Leong is the Vice President of Strategy, Engineering and Innovation at Singtel Group Technology and Networks. He leads the development of Singtel Group Networks' short- and long-term technology strategy and is responsible for driving enterprise architecture and governance within Group Networks. Before his current role in Singtel, he was with HTX, the science and technology agency under Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), overseeing the telecommunications, cloud and enterprise systems' implementation for the Home Team, under the Enterprise Group.

Yu Leong is an accomplished telecommunications professional with extensive experience across the industry. He began his extensive career at Singtel in 1997 as a Radio Network Engineer, before moving to Ericsson, where he undertook the role for Product management for Value-added services (VAS) and led pre-sales technical support. Yu Leong subsequently rejoined Singtel and spent the next 17 years in key roles at both Singtel and Optus, in the area of VAS Planning, OSS Operations, SingNet Broadband Operations, Mobile Data & VAS and Multimedia Services Engineering. As part of his fulfilling career, he led the development of advancing capabilities and technologies across Singtel and Optus, including Roaming, Prepaid services, IoT, Big Data, Mobile Finance services and Network Cloud. Yu Leong also played a pivotal role in the digitalisation of Optus Mobile Networks.
