TM Forum Hackathon: Smart City & Climate

TM Forum’s first Asian University Challenge will bring together students from over 6 Universities across Beijing. Students will participate in to create the top innovative solutions to smart city & climate challenges leveraging TM Forum’s ecosystem to ecosystem platform.

A key focus of the Beijing Hackathon is to look at how technology can be used to improve the quality of life for citizens through improved public services such as healthcare, waste management, energy, water treatment, etc by integrating ICT solutions which can deliver real city data and help improve decision making and influence citizen behavior.

Challenges Include:

  • How can we citizens leverage technology and innovation to reduce pollution in our cities?

  • How can technology be used to help change people’s behaviors which in turn will help keep our city cleaner?

  •  How can real time information be used to help improve decision making to help make our city run more efficiently?
