This whitepaper looks at a proposed approach to managing privacy concerns in complex digital ecosystems, providing practical details of how the approach would work in a complex ecosystem with critical privacy challenges.
Using an example from TM Forum’s Catalyst program, the whitepaper shows the importance of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). APIs are points in the ecosystem where data is transferred between parties. By examining the participants on each side of an API in more detail it is possible to identify the data protection roles within that section of the ecosystem.
