Autonomous Network Levels (ANL) Model

Explore TM Forum’s Autonomous Networks Levels, including their concepts, benefits, and how they guide clear targets in the Autonomous journey.

A common understanding of Autonomous Network Levels is essential to help operators’ operational and management efforts as well as the coordination of their dedicated human resources, all of which will vary according to the different levels of network autonomy. It is key that operators, and the industry in general, have a clear understanding of the expectations of the level of their network automated maturity. This is to enable them to focus on the important features which should be prioritized to achieve the required level of autonomy for their networks.

This course investigates the definitions of the Autonomous Networks Levels based on TM Forum collaboration programs. It describes the concepts of each of the Autonomous Network Levels, providing insights into the multitude of benefits that the Autonomous Network Levels model can bring and its place in the Autonomous Network initiatives. It will also help understand how the model can be used to define clear and measurable targets in the Autonomous journey.
