NetAct 6 is Nokia Siemens Networks’ next generation multi-vendor and multi-technology network management system with a unified architecture on highly efficient and scalable Linux/x86 environment.

The new architecture improves cross-domain operational efficiency supporting eTOM processes and automation for OSS/BSS solutions, with NSN and 3rd party applications. NetAct functionalities include a wide range of products for assurance, configuration and optimization. The same integrated solution can manage all technology domains: radio, core and transport networks.

NetAct 6 supports open standards, SID conformant common data model and enables SOA approach by increasing interoperability and federating data and services. One integration point and interfaces towards upper level systems enables hiding the network complexity and loosely coupling of OSS and networks.

CSPs can leverage the unified OSS/BSS solutions to speed up their time-to-market and offer an enhanced Quality of Experience for transformation towards TMF Frameworx Integrated Business Architecture.
