IG1252A Fault Management Template v1.0.0

This is the Main template of Fault Management Questionnaire and should be used to create questionnaires for different network domains i.e.: RAN, CORE, IP & Transport.  The assessment is process-based and intended to be vendor-independent and where possible technology independent.            

Fault Management comprises the processes of Event Management, Incident Management and Field Operations (when applicable).  The questionnaire is based on the principles described in 3GPP TS 28.100 & IG1252.          

The participation of relevant Subject Matter Experts is required to complete the assessment (1st and 2nd level operation engineers as well as automation experts).  Questions can include reference to any particular NW domain requirement.  Intelligent models implies using any AI/ML model or advanced statistical calculations such that the pattern of data is understood automatically by the System.
