Zero-Touch Partnering Vision and Strategy v3.1.0 (IG1279)

This Document describes the Business strategy for Communications Service provider aspiring to launch Beyond Connectivity services and adopt a marketplace model. The Business strategy categorizing partners, adopting a maturity model for the partners, the business functions the organization must have to implement the Zero Touch Partnering strategy, and via a governance model, the scope of each Business Functions, the processes within each function and the organizational departments that use this function.

Zero touch partnering is implemented via APIs but the definition of those APIs and the relationship and dependency between the entities that expose the capabilities of the marketplace to the other stakeholders must be decided via a Governance model. Hence the emphasis on the Organizational governance for implementing a Zero Touch Partnering Strategy. A Business and Operating Model are important tools to identify the core competencies and key processes that the organization must focus on to realize the value proposition that the offered via the marketplace. Hence using the Business Model canvas to create a model and identifying the core competencies is strongly encouraged before embarking on launching the marketplace based on the principles and APIs of Zero touch Partnering.
