The concepts of intent driven operation were introduced in IG1253 Intent in Autonomous Networks. Intents are defined as knowledge objects. As such they have a defined life cycle that needs to be actively managed. Intent management functions implement this management task.
This document is a supplementary document to IG1235. It defines the life cycle of intent objects and the interface for managing them.
