IG1219E Anomaly Management Information Model v3.0.0

A common information model for anomaly management facilitates the drive to achieve zero-trouble. This introductory guide extends SID with anomaly management information model (AMIM) business entities and furthermore establishes the information integration requirements across environments. In this introductory guide, formal representation of entities, their types, properties, relationships and the operations will be found.

Closed-loop automation (CLA) is targeting reducing dependence on human intervention in automation in order to intelligently enable autonomy in systems and operations. This facilitates new capabilities such as self-monitoring, self-assessing, self-correcting and fulfilling all specified requirements and goals. CLA is a key enabler to dynamically meet 5G networks and enable better man-machine collaboration in an every increasing landscape of complexity across business, technology and operational concerns.

Similar to the concept of intent-driven management, where communication between management services is conveyed by intents, CLA subscribes to goals that can be orchestrated in a closed loop fashion to ensure that expectation from humans and programmed machines are honored. This means that different closed loops will be employed to manage workflows and activities that can span single and multiple resource, product and service domains. To facilitate managing the sophisticated integration of product, services and resources to meet set business and operational goals, the information model business entities are a pivotal part to enable interpretation and understanding of the handshake that is required across different endpoints and multi-vendor systems. This project identifies and describes the business entities and their relationships.

Iterative releases of this guide will extend TM Forum SIDE based on the domain structure providing a set of entity types, properties, relationships and operations.
