IG1243 ODA Contracts for Ecosystem Enablement v2.0.0

This document deals with the particular challenges of linking up multiple organizations to create a functional B2B2x platform business.

Much of the rest of the Open Digital Architecture (ODA) is aimed at ensuring standardized specifications for functions as components so that businesses can rapidly transform to meet new challenges. This document, by contrast, deals with what is important to be standardized when multiple organizations wish to integrate with each other to deliver effective customer service beyond the functionality required.

These needs can be performance, latency, reliability, capacity or often security related. The document builds on an assumption that the participating organizations will already have shared, standardized functional standards as are delivered by the greater ODA program.

It is the authoring team’s assertion that standardized contracts between participating organizations will be critical to enable rapidly scaling platform businesses. This document presents important example contract specifications to meet this need.
