IG1435 Requirements for Copilot Interface v1.0.0
- Maturity level: Alpha

Created By: Autonomous Networks Project
This document elicits the requirement for the Copilot interface in the Autonomous Network (AN). In autonomous networks, the AN architecture group has defined 20 high-value application scenarios, expecting to leverage autonomous networks to rapidly and efficiently automate the closed-loop processes of these business scenarios. However, in certain cases, such as the automated handling of network faults, there are some faults that cannot be fully processed automatically. For example, on-site hardware operations and the review of high-risk commands must be addressed by engineers on-site. Merely defining an Agent to address these issues does not satisfy the engineers’ needs for rapid and accurate fault handling. Thus, the Copilot is proposed to assist engineers in managing end-to-end fault resolution. Currently, the TM Forum has not defined a standardized interface for the Copilot, which is essential for providing natural language capabilities. These capabilities should encompass various response formats, including the support for charts, graphics, photos, videos, and more.
