IG1190 AIOps Service Management Deployment Phase v2.0.1

In this deliverable IG1190 we cover the Deployment stage of the software lifecycle. Other stages of the lifecycle may be part of future deliverables. This paper is intended to be a useful route map to take a step in a journey, whose end-goal is to transform traditional service management practices into what we call AIOps Service Management. The processes in AIOps will be properly re-engineered and adapted in order to support effectively the management and governance of AI models and AI-based systems across their lifecycle. This work is part of the deliverables of the TM Forum work stream “AIOps – Redesigning Operations Processes”, which has been specifically set up to explore the challenge of redesigning and re-engineering the CSPs operations management processes to support and govern massive deployment of AI. This document is also inclusive of and based on the work carried out as part of the award-winning Catalyst project “AI for IT & Network Operations (AIOps)” which ran for two years involving 13 global companies, which was deployed in 3 different phases and showcased at TM Forum Digital Transformation Asia (DTA) 2018, Digital Transformation World (DTW) 2019 and DTA 2019.
