IG1223 An Evaluation of Digital Return on Investment for Multi-Sector Services v1.0.0

Digital ecosystem initiatives need to be both innovative and financially sustainable in order to succeed. Unfortunately, many initiatives fail to achieve the latter which is why we have started a new initiative inside TM Forum to help our members create the business case for digital investment.

The first effort in this regard is the co-creation of this template Return on Investment (RoI) model for digital ecosystem services. Using it enables improved investment decision-making and the ability to expose the business cases for future sustainable projects so that they receive the backing they deserve. This allows them to come to life and helps to make a difference in society and industry, particularly in this post-Covid era where digital transformation across all verticals is being accelerated, it is even more important to invest wisely, make the right case for the solutions that will deliver lasting impact to society and industry.
