This TM Forum Business Process Framework Practitioners certification helps you to unlock the potential of one of the most powerful standards in the telecom and digital services industry.   • Module 2 – Mapping Processes to the Business Process Framework Beyond level 3

Open Digital Framework Overview is recommended
Business Process Framework Fundamentals is required

Module 1:

  1. Analyse the drivers behind digital transformation and explain why organisations like ConnectCom need structured frameworks to manage complexity.
  2. Evaluate the role of the TM Forum Business Process Framework in aligning organisational processes and reducing operational silos.
  3. Explain how as-is and to-be process states are compared to identify gaps and prioritisation strategies for transformation.
  4. Interpret the hierarchical structure of the Business Process Framework and discuss how decomposition levels support scoping and rationalisation.
  5. Examine governance principles and their importance in ensuring accountability and consistency during transformation initiatives.
  6. Assess the value of gap analysis and rationalisation techniques in aligning processes with strategic objectives.
  7. Critique the importance of conformance as a validation mechanism and its impact on organisational credibility and risk reduction.
  8. Justify the business value of moving from ad-hoc checks to a structured conformance programme, using ConnectCom’s case study as evidence.

Module 2:

  1. Explain the purpose and structure of the TM Forum Business Process Framework and its role in digital transformation.
  2. Analyze an organization’s As-Is processes and map them to the appropriate levels of the Business Process Framework.
  3. Identify and classify gaps, inefficiencies, and additional processes by applying tools such as gap analysis, RASCI charts, and capability maturity models.
  4. Design To-Be process models that align with business strategy, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  5. Prioritize and plan process improvements by developing a practical transformation roadmap for execution.
