Hybrid/Virtualized Network Management: E2E Service Assurance and SLA Management R16.0.1 (IG1127)

As NFV starts to become a reality, organizations providing services within the NFV marketplace need clear guidance on how SLAs can be used to manage service component and platform suppliers. TM Forum has significant assets in SLA Management and these can be applied to NFV, contingent on representative service deployment models being captured. In addition, it is inevitable that as organizations migrate to a full deployment of NFV, there will be a need to manage hybrid networks constructed from both physical and virtual network functions. This Implementation Guide brings out the challenges and impacts on end-to-end Service Assurance and SLA management in both virtualized and hybrid physical/virtualized environments.
