This TM Forum Digital Platform Reference Architecture White Paper explores the digital industry landscape and best practices, analyzes how they can be tuned to the communication industry and provides a blueprint that CSPs and their ecosystem partners can leverage along their digital transformation journeys.

This document and its supporting companions, explore what it will take for the industry to collectively engage, embrace platform-based business models. Collectively defining and adopting platform architectures and open APIs, that that will allow ecosystem participants to collaborate for hosting and operating services and implementing service orchestration. This will enable operation and monetization of connected services over multiple platforms whilst simultaneously improving agility in providing and modifying services and reducing time to market.

Based on real-life examples, it also explores how these platform concepts and principles can be applied to achieve agility in IT architecture consolidation for OSS/BSS.
