This information model is designed to meet a set of requirements for the management of “ACTIVITY”, as a set of information to describe the state of being active. ACTIVITY as a modeled concept, provides a good starting point to develop workflows and then closed loop or a combination of both.
There exists the concept of ACTIVITY in SID as at release R22 but related to PROJECT. The purpose of this information model is to enable improve the current positioning in SID, as well as enable identify and capture entities and attributes related to fully understanding how we model business and operational activity within information systems.
