The scope of this document is to define the Data Policy Management API in support of the management of data management and data governance.
Within the Data Governance Suite of APIs, The Data Policy Management API provides the ability to manage the metadata of data policies and their application to data assets. The Data Policy Management API provides the ability to retrieve policy metadata of a data asset to determine support for the run time governance of data assets. The Data Policy Management API extends the Policy Management API to be specific to the context of Data Governance.
