IG1333 Using TMF Assets to Make Autonomous Operations a Reality v1.0.0

This document presents a case study of the successful introduction during 2023 of autonomous operations into the O&M domain of CMCC- Zhejiang, which is a leading provincial operating company within the China Mobile Group. The case study shows how CMCC Zhejiang, with support from Huawei, made extensive use of TMF assets and the TMF Catalyst program to both drive the necessary changes into its organization, technology and ways of working, and to share the resulting lessons learnt back to the wider industry. Some key recommendations are shared, as well as evidence showing the positive impact on business performance, customer experience and employee engagement that the introduction of autonomous operations is already having.
