GB1037 Culture Transformation Framework v1.0.0

It seems like organizations have never been in as much a state of flux as they have recently been.  Between business and technological disruptions, the social, political and environmental landscapes and of course, the world post COVID-19; business leaders must ensure that their organizations can thrive in a completely different world.  This requires transformations in technology adoption, business models and ways of working.  Clear as this is to most business leaders, what many of them still can’t see is that there is no successful transformation without culture change.

And for those that do see the importance of culture change, there is yet another challenge; how to go about it. That is the purpose of this document; to address how to carry out a culture transformation by providing a practical framework for approaching culture transformation. As a supporting framework to the reference asset GB1031 Culture & Skills Guidebook, this GB1037 Culture Transformation Framework acts as a playbook, or step-by-step guide for executing and achieving a culture transformation. The document does not attempt to be a prescriptive means for transforming culture, and therefore will not force the application of individual methods. This guide will point you in the right direction, and guide you to the next logical steps until the transformation is achieved. The methodologies you decide to use within each phase is decided by the team implementing the culture transformation.
