IG1225A Whitepaper – Data Governance and Hybrid Data Clouds v1.0.0

This document will assess the impact of hybrid cloud architectures on data governance imperatives for telecommunications service provider operations. It will look at current approaches to data governance with reference to other work at the TM Forum in the Data Governance Collaboration team, the move to public cloud infrastructures for some workloads, and what that means for managing data and enterprise data policy. Finally, it will make some recommendations in terms of best practice for data governance in a hybrid data cloud environment, and during the process of moving data workloads from on-prem to public cloud and hybrid architectures.
