RN362 Digital Maturity Model Release Notes R18.5

This Release Note details the changes incorporated in Version 2.0 of the TM Forum Digital Maturity Model (DMM).

DMM Version 1.0 was released in May 2017, subject of numerous pilots and used by a number of our Members. Feedback from use of the model and the accompanying tool suggested that there could be improvements made in the areas of :

– The size of the model – due to resource commitments needed to complete the full 179 criteria

– The clarity of the model – to simplify the language for non-native English speakers, for brevity and clarity

– The ability of the tool to target questions for a specific Dimension audience.

In Version 2.0 the model addresses these concerns and more, and the revised model and tool changes are described in more detail. The Version 1.0 model and tool functionality is not detailed in this document to keep focus and clarity around the changes from Version 1.0.
