Revenue Assurance is a rapidly maturing discipline within the telecommunications industry; the last ten years has seen widespread industry acceptance of the issues and increasingly effective techniques and systems to detect, investigate, correct and prevent such revenue and cost leakage.
This addendum is to demonstrate the breadth of Revenue Assurance by documenting a wide range of real-life examples and classifying them within a revenue assurance framework.
The version of the document was updated to add three new use cases that use AI and Machine learning for detection, correction, and prevention. A new use case was added to each of the following areas: Revenue Assurance Framework: Order management & provisioning, Customer management and Partner management.
