GB922 Business Partner R19.0.1

The concept of a business partner is not new or unique to the world of digital services. Many enterprises have already implemented the concept in their business models and applications, or their equivalent implementations of the Frameworx processes, information, applications and interfaces. In fact, from its beginnings in 2001, the Information Framework has embraced this concept as a set of ABEs.

Important updates have been made in R19.0 as a result of analyses carried out during phases 18.0 and 18.5 to revisit “Engaged Party” as a concept and as a domain.  In particular the domain EngagedParty has been renamed BusinessPartner and consequently this guidebook has been renamed as well.  More updates are expected for release 19.5.
