Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) is the largest integrated communications solutions provider in Malaysia, and one of Asia’s leading communications companies, with operating revenue is more than RM 5.74 billion. In 2007, it was decided that a demerger of the mobile and fixed services would be strategic. Subsequent to demerger, TM focus more intently on its core business of providing communication services and solutions in Internet and multimedia, data, fixed line and High Speed Broadband (HSBB). Today’s with the latest national-building High Speed Broadband (HSBB) initiatives, TM continue rolling out the most exciting telecommunication services. On 24th March 2010, TM officially launched next-generation High Speed Broadband (HSBB) with the new brand name called ‘Unifi’. Unifi signifies the essence of the service in connecting and bringing people together to communicate and collaborate. Committed to universal service excellence, TM has adopted a business model that is tuned in to the marketplace. Operationally, it is aligned to six principal customer segments: Consumer, Small Medium Enterprise (SME), Enterprise, Government, Wholesale and Global. Wholesale focuses on bandwidth and other infrastructure to telcos, ISPs, managed network service providers, application service providers, global operators and data centre providers; while Global provides satellite, terrestrial and submarine fibre optic connectivity across Asia, Europe, the Americas, Oceania, the Middle East and Africa.
