The Unified National Networks (UNN) is an organization 100% wholly owned by His Majesty's Government of Brunei Darussalam, and recognized as a Government-Linked company under Darussalam Assets Sdn Bhd. Established on 4 December 2018, the UNN purpose is serving Brunei Darussalam’s digital telecommunications, offering wholesale telecommunication services to both national and international clients. On the 1st of September 2019, UNN officially took over all network infrastructure operated by the existing telecommunications service providers, including Imagine Sdn Bhd (imagine), Datastream Technology Sdn Bhd (DST), Progresif Cellular Sdn Bhd (Progresif) and Brunei International Gateway Sdn Bhd (BIG) in an effort to consolidate and modernise all the transferred networks in order to deliver highly resilient and quality services to the whole nation. Our business is aligned with our Vision and Mission, which aims to create a modern and cost-efficient digital platform in support of Brunei Darussalam’s Vision 2035 and the ICT transformation journey—as Brunei progresses towards a more connected and digitally integrated future. In support of this goal, the UNN is fully committed to develop and empower the Brunei Smart Nation initiatives and support talents across all segments. We believe that through modernising the network infrastructure and investing on new technologies, we can significantly elevate the quality and array of services provided in the country, with better affordability and accessibility.
