TMF053C NGOSS Technology Neutral Architecture: Behavior and Control Services V1.1

Fundamentally, NGOSS is concerned with automating business processes. Recent efforts have been formally defining how to apply business management techniques to business processes and how policy can be used to manage the behavior of the system. While either policy management or process management can be used by itself, to do so is to fail to realize the greater potential afforded by using both to manage the same system.

Thus, the motivation for this Annex is to define how policy management and process management can be used together to better manage an NGOSS system.
