This guide book defines a set of common business entities that serve as the foundation, and in some cases a root, for certain Aggregate Business Entities (ABEs), specifically Service Specification, Service, Resource Specification, Resource, Policy, PLA Spec, and some Enterprise Security ABEs. It also describes a pattern, called the CharacteristicSpecification/CharacteristicValue pattern that can be used to dynamically define attributes for any business entity.
