ZTE announced a partnership with TM Forum and the City of Yinchuan to set up a Smart City Innovation Center to drive the development of technologies and platforms for smarter public services for urban residents.
The new innovation centre will leverage ZTE’s metropolitan ICT technologies, including Smart City 2.0, a suite of products enabling the provisioning and delivery of transportation, healthcare, education and other connected public services.
The City of Yinchuan deployed ZTE’s Smart 2.0 platform to provision public services more efficiently and productively, enabling the management of information and data across different government departments. ZTE’s Smart 2.0 platform aligns with the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model to ensure improved funding allocation for Smart City projects. Residents and businesses in Yinchuan can now access public services with greater speeds and efficiency, and the time needed for applications for public services have been reduced by as much as 78 percent.
